Maybe
following the dictates of fashion or a simple aesthetic taste, piercings have
imposed themselves recently, no matter the sex. It is known they are put on
parts of the body so unthinkable before as lips, eyebrows, nose and even
genitals! From a clinical point of view, it is extremely dangerous to put on
those attributes in these very sensitive areas of our bodies.

following the dictates of fashion or a simple aesthetic taste, piercings have
imposed themselves recently, no matter the sex. It is known they are put on
parts of the body so unthinkable before as lips, eyebrows, nose and even
genitals! From a clinical point of view, it is extremely dangerous to put on
those attributes in these very sensitive areas of our bodies.
However, we are
not trying to begin a discussion with you on the benefits or damages of its use
in such locations, but to recommend you that,
if at the end you decide to pierce your body, at least do it in the safest possible
way.
The first
thing to keep in mind is that the person who will pierce you must be a good
professional: no beginners whose work you have to regret later. Never let that
person use inappropriate needles, and you should
make sure they have had a rigorous process of sterilization. Thus you will avoid
the risk of contracting a contagious disease which might be AIDS in case the
needles have been previously employed in someone infected.
No rough
rings or earrings hurting the skin or mucous membranes, because although piercing
wounds heal between 7 and 10 days, every precautions must be taken. During that
time you will clean the area with saline and heal with antibiotic and healing
ointments that are easy to get. Specialists also recommend taking antibiotic pills
to avoid internal infection.
So, you know
already. If after all the risks you insist in getting a piercing, you must meet
certain requirements to ensure your aesthetic and physical security. When it is
about piercing, we have to make it safe.
